What are some of the lessons from a country where inflation never stops?
In the last couple of years, we have seen a surge in inflation in the developed economies. After 30 even 40 years without any significant inflation in Europe/US/Japan, we now see double figures in a few of the major economies. Effectively this means that we have had a few generations of management, finance professionals and government officials that never dealt with inflation. They are left stumped without the experience of how to approach this phenomenon, what measures to take or how to control their profitability.
